چکیده
application of bio-fertilizers, especially mycorrhiza as substituent or complement of chemical fertilizers is one of the most important strategies for plant nutrition in sustainable management of agro-ecosystems. in order to evaluate the separated and integrated application of mycorrhiza biological fertilizer and phosphorus chemical fertilizers on growth indices of chickpea (cicer arietinum l.), an experiment was conducted at the research station of faculty agriculture of shahrood university of technology during growing season of 2009-2010 based on a randomized complete block design with four treatments and three replications. treatments included: b1 (control), b2 (mycorrhiza biological fertilizer), b3 (25 kg.ha-1 phosphorus fertilizer + mycorrhiza biological fertilizer) and b4 (50 kg.ha-1 phosphorus fertilizer). the results indicated that b4 and b3 treatments significantly increased leaf area index, leaf area duration and dry matter accumulation compared with control (b1) and mycorrhiza (b2). the maximum and minimum dry matter obtained at 111 days after planting in b4 and b1 with 804.24 and 490.58 g.m-2 respectively and b3 treatment (698.41 g.m-2) increased dry matter 42.36 % compared with control. also, b3 treatment increased plant height, leaf area index and leaf area duration 17.59, 49.18 and 48.74 % compared with control respectively after 90 days of planting. in all indices measured statistically there was no significant difference between b4 and b3 treatment. result of the present study indicated integrated application biological fertilizer and chemical fertilizer in chickpea lead to decreasing of 50% in chemical fertilizer application.

Effect of Cultivar, Irrigation and Nitrogen Fertilization on Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) Productivity
A 2-year field study was conducted in northern Greece to investigate the effect of nitrogen fertilization and irrigation on productivity of three Greek chickpea varieties (“Amorgos” “Serifos”, “Andros”). Chickpea, grown under irrigation regime (30 + 30 mm of water) and fertilized with 50 kg·N·ha−1 before planting and with 40 kg·N·ha−1 at blossom growth stage, produced more total dry biomass and...

Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is one of the major legume crops grown in Pakistan having a considerable importance as a food, feed and fodder but due to imbalanced use of fertilizers its production is low. To find the optimum level of Phosphorus and FYM for chickpea and study their effect on agronomic characteristics an experiment was carried out at the Agricultural Research Farm of NWFP Agricul...
متن کاملGENETIC DIVERGENCE IN CHICKPEA (Cicer arietinum L.)
Genetic diversity of 27 chickpea genotypes was studied through Mahalanobis D and Principal Component analysis. The genotypes under study fall into five clusters. The cluster II contained the highest number of genotypes (11) and Cluster I contained the lowest. Cluster I produced the highest mean value for number of pods per plant. The inter cluster distances were much higher than the intra clust...

متن کاملEffect of processing methods on the calcium, phosphorus, and phytic acid contents and nutritive utilization of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.).
The effect of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) processing methods on the nutritive utilization of calcium and phosphorus and on phytic acid, a seed component that affects mineral utilization, was studied. Chemical and biological methods were used for nutritional determinations in growing rats. The digestive utilization of calcium from raw chickpea was adequate for growing rats; however, processing...

The seeds of ten different genotypes of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) originated from Egypt, ICARDA and Saudi Arabia, were used to screen their tissue culture response on various media combination. MS media supplemented with 1, 2 and 4 mg of each of IBA and transzeatin /l, were tested. The results showed that stem results were far better from leaves explants. The callus induction ranged from 6....
